As a symbol of peace, an origami crane with a personal message is either given to a friend or left in a public place. This is the peace crane project—an initiative first spearheaded to celebrate the United Nations International Day of Peace. The project encourages peace through a symbol, as well as spreads positivity in the community through the origami cranes.
It’s as easy as 1, 2, 3! Write a message on a piece of square paper, fold it into a paper crane, and give it to a friend or leave it for someone else to find. Take part in the peace crane project!
