Global Resource Loans
Our resource library includes books, posters, leaflets, artefacts and photo-packs.
There are activity notes to help, which make it possible to use the Collections with little or no knowledge of the country they focus on.
Use them not only as a global resource but to develop your learners’ skills of reflection, analysis, observation, presentation, discussion, sharing, in an imaginative and fun way which also broadens their knowledge and understanding of the world and their place in it.
Global Topic Boxes
Compiled by our experienced team of educationalists, these Global Topic Boxes provide teachers and other practitioners with a range of teaching and learning materials, activities and cross references to GLADE Collections, that focus on specific global topics for the curriculum.
Country Collections
Each of our exciting country collections has been created jointly by GLADE personnel with particular knowledge of that country working together with colleagues from that country.
Each Collection includes suggestions for teachers and facilitators about how to use them.
Themed Collections
We have collections available which contain material from several different countries, all relating to one theme.
Themes include: Heritage; Interfaith & Belief; Numeracy; Literacy; Music, Arts, Crafts & Design; Sustainable Living.
