“It’s hard to imagine girls around the world have to do this every day.”

This summer, a group of London schoolgirls came a step closer to experiencing what life is like for girls in the developing world, as they recreated the arduous task of collecting water.

“At 5am I would normally be asleep or getting ready for school,” says Kimberley, 11. “Not collecting water I wouldn’t even want to drink.”
