Dementia doesn’t care about the person. We should.

Dementia affects nearly 25,000 people from black, Asian and minority ethnic groups in the UK. The population makeup of the UK means that these numbers will only increase with time.

This film explores the double discrimination and how the current system fails to address the unique issues faced by BME people with dementia.

The film is part of the End Racism This Generation campaign, which calls on individuals and organisations to make change in their own lives, workplaces and communities to tackle racism.

This video was produced with funding from a European Commission DG-Justice Progress Anti-Discrimination Action Grant.
